Saratoga Springs [Saratoga Springs]
a city in north-eastern New York State which is an international centre for horse racing. It was settled in 1773 around 122 natural mineral springs and became popular as the ‘Queen of Spas’ during the 19th century. The two battles of ↑Saratoga were fought not far away.
